Summer Reading 2018

Libraries ROCK! Come by the library to check out all of our exciting programs for families and kids of all ages! This year we have programs for children ages birth to 120 years old.

    Summer Reading 2018

    This year the library is offering summer reading activities for all ages, birth to 120 years old.  

    Please feel free to print the sign-up forms, or just come by the library on sign-up day, May 31st.  If you miss sign-up day, don't worry!! You can sign up at any time during the summer before the end of the program! 

    Sign-up day is Thursday May 31st starting at 1pm.  We will have cookies and punch available for everyone after they sign up.  During this time you can sign-up for a FREE library card, check out books, and get started on your summer reading. 

    YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A WOLFFORTH RESIDENT TO JOIN OUR PROGRAM! As long as the parent or guardian has a Texas driver's license or ID card, you can be a member! 

  • Summer Activities

    We have many activities coming up this summer for kids of all ages!
  • Summer Movies at the Library

    FREE summer movies at the library every Friday at Noon. Bring your lunch and family or friends and join us for family friendly movies. Candy, popcorn, and drinks are on sale for $1. All funds from snack sales go towards children's programming.

  • 1,000 Books Before Kindergarten

    This is a program for young children, ages birth to 4 years old. This program runs continuously and encourages early literacy in our youngest readers! Stop by the library for more information and to sign your child up.

  • Incoming Kindergarten

    Open to incoming Kindergartners for the 2018-2019 school year! This is a great program to get your young reader ready for school.
  • Incoming 1st - 6th graders

    Summer reading contest is open to all students entering 1st - 6th grade for the 2018-2019 school year. This is a great program to keep your children reading through the summer months! PRIZES!!!
  • Incoming 7th - 12 Graders

    Teen program is open to all students who are entering 7th - 12th grade for the 2018-2019 school year. Great prizes are available for reading this summer!
  • Adult Summer Reading Program

    This year the library is offering our first ever adult summer reading contest. Program is open to all adults 18 years and older. (If 18 and still in high school for the 2018-2019 school year join the teen program)
  • Volunteers

    We encourage our older students to volunteer at the library. Please fill out the form and bring it in to the library. You will need to talk to Kim or Taylor prior to volunteering.
